Terms of Service

These terms explain the rules for using AipaxDev's website and software. Please read them before buying or downloading an app. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.

1. Who we are

AipaxDev is an independent software business based in England, United Kingdom. "We", "us" and "our" mean AipaxDev. You can reach us through our contact page.

2. Buying an app

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Creem (creem.io). Creem is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: it takes payment, handles VAT and sales tax, and provides order-related customer service and refunds. When you buy, you also agree to Creem's terms of sale.

Prices are shown on each app's page. Any tax that applies in your country is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay. After payment, Creem emails you a receipt, your download link and your licence key.

3. Your licence

When you buy an app, you don't buy the software itself. You buy a licence to use it. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app, for personal or business purposes, on up to 3 devices that you own or control.

Keep your licence key private. Keys that are shared publicly, resold, or refunded may be deactivated.

4. Updates

Your licence includes all updates to the major version you bought. For example, buying version 1 includes every 1.x update. Bug fixes are always free.

If we release a new major version (for example, version 2) as a paid upgrade, you can keep using the version you have, and existing customers will be offered a discount on the upgrade.

5. Free apps

Apps we offer for free may be used on any number of your devices, under the same rules as section 6. They don't need a licence key.

6. What you can't do

• Sell, rent, share or give away the app or your licence key.
• Copy, modify or reverse-engineer the app, except where the law allows it.
• Use the app for anything unlawful.

7. Refunds

You can get a full refund within 14 days of purchase for any reason. See our Refund Policy for details. Your legal rights for faulty software apply in addition to this.

8. If something goes wrong

Our apps are made with care, but software can have bugs. If an app doesn't work as described, let us know and we'll try to fix it. If we can't, you're entitled to a refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

If our software damages your device or other digital content because we didn't use reasonable care and skill, we will either repair the damage or pay you compensation.

We are not responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable, or for business losses such as lost profits or data. Please keep backups of important files. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown here when you buy applies to that purchase.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you also keep the protections of your local consumer law, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.
